Updated versions of our plug-in for 3ds Max 2027 and Maya 2027 are actively in development and are our top priority. We'll announce their release here as soon as they're ready.
Important Compatibility Information
Please be aware that our current plug-ins are not compatible with 3ds Max 2027 or Maya 2027. Installing them into these new versions is likely to result in errors or unexpected behaviour, so we'd recommend continuing to use them with their supported versions until the updates are available.
Our update process
Our plug-in integrates closely with both the host application and the rendering engines it supports. Because of this deep integration, we need access to final, stable builds of each product before we can begin our update work. This has always been our standard process - developing against beta software isn't practical as changes made during the beta period can break compatibility, meaning work would have to be redone. Instead, we begin development once final builds become available, then put the updated plug-in through our full QA process before release.
As part of this process, there is always a gap between the launch of a new version of 3ds Max or Maya and the availability of our updated plug-in. The timeline can also be affected by supported renderers, some of which release their own updates after the main application. We can't ship a complete, tested plug-in until compatible renderer builds are available too.
When to expect the update
We don't publish a fixed release date because it depends on factors outside our control, but we want you to know that our team is focused on this right now. Getting these updates to you as quickly as possible is genuinely important to us. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact support.
