Pancreatic Cancer Charity Fundraising

Mark Segasby training run
Half Marathon Training Run

Our Co-founder Mark Segasby will be running the London Marathon this Sunday – his first marathon. He’s raising money for the charity - Pancreatic Cancer UK. Mark lost his mother to this disease in June last year.

Mark stresses he is not raising money to try and cure cancer. He wants the money to provide immediate and practical help to those who need specialist advice and support when they are diagnosed.

“The money I am raising I have chosen to specifically fund the Support and Information Team at Pancreatic Cancer UK – paying for the nurses and support workers who answer the phone and talk to people who have just found out they have this cancer, and their families too, like they talked to me. This money will also fund the information packs that are sent out in the post.”

Mark successfully completed the London Marathon and managed to raise over £9,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK. He passes on his thanks to all those who supported him and wished him well.
